Renee + David Married | Santa Monica, CA

When Renee and David asked us to photograph them on a sailboat, we knew we would get along swell. We were so happy to come back to LA to photograph their Santa Monica wedding. The venue was right on the beach next to the boardwalk. It was a golden day that ended with dancing, a hula hoop dancer, and live music streaming through the open windows late into the night. Then these two adventurous souls took off to Thailand to scuba dive throughout their honeymoon!

Jessica + Matt | Iceland

We were recently in Iceland on holiday, and had the good fortune of meeting some new friends. Jessica and Matt are photographers from Toronto, Canada and we hit it off right away. We rented a Land Rover Defender and spent a full day with them driving around the island, snorkeling in glacier water, eating burgers, watching geysers explode, pulling over to pet horses or take photos or feel the moss, and mostly marveling at the beauty that is Iceland. We decided since we had a fun couple and a darn good looking car in one of the most beautiful places on earth, we ought to do a lifestyle shoot with them. Here’s what we got.
