Yesterday I told you about our foggiest shoot ever, but it wasn’t entirely true, because I think this one is even foggier (same day, different couple). There’s something about fog that makes a familiar place feel like a distant planet, and it’s always such a treasure to photograph something new, somewhere new.
Regardless of the setting, the key to a good portrait is the subject. And Stacey and Jimmy were perfect. The place was deserted and eerily quiet. It felt like they were the only two people left on earth, and they were happy about it. Stacey tried to pull some serious faces, but the giggles came too naturally, and that’s always a good sign.
Stacey and I were online friends long before we met in person (which means you’ll be instant friends in real life), so we were really happy to finally photograph her with her man.
