Carly + Brendan Engaged | North Bend, WA

Carly and Brendan enjoy the outdoors, so obviously we hit it off pretty quickly. When they let us pick the location for their engagement shoot, we decided to take them on a hike (it’s not every couple you can do this with, so we thought we better take advantage). I don’t think they were anticipating a five mile hike with freezing fog, wind, and rain at the top of the mountain. Well, neither were we. We saw the amazing view below for a brief couple of minutes before a thick fog moved in and all we could see was white (unfortunate after that long climb up). We were all shivering and wet, trying not to get blown off the cliff. Despite the weather, these two were such good sports about it, and their love and affection never faded. Their wedding will be a breeze after this experience together!

Sandra S. - The green colors in this are STUNNING. And I think she’s rather brave for being so natural and rain-soaked during her engagement shoot–I definitely admire her for it.

Sofiya + Yanik Engaged | Yakima, WA

We traveled to Yakima (a couple hours out of Seattle) to photograph Sofiya and Yanik, and it was worth it. We explored orchards, fields, railroads, under bridges, and around the small downtown. I don’t think we’ve ever hit so many locations during one shoot, but these two were so fun to photograph that we could have kept going.

Today is actually Sofiya and Yanik’s wedding day and we are so excited to photograph them again and celebrate their marriage. See you guys soon!
